Joe has practised exclusively in the area of marriage and relationship breakdowns since 1987 and is accredited as a Specialist by the Law Institute of Victoria in Family Law matters. He has a particular interest in complex financial matters involving companies and trusts. His work includes: Family Law advice and litigation including property settlements, children's issues (residence/custody, contact/access, child support/maintenance etc.), divorce, spousal maintenance, restraining orders, superannuation and the preparation of Binding Financial Agreements (either prior to marriage, during the marriage or after separation);and The law relating to Defacto Relationships, including advice and litigation in relation to financial and children's issues and the preparation of Co-habitation Agreements and Separation Agreements. Joe has a Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws from Monash University and a Graduate Diploma in Family Law Mediation from La Trobe University. He was admitted to practise in 1987. He joined Pearsons in 1994 and became a partner in the following year. Joe has served on the Family Law Executive and Court's Practice Committees of the Family Law Section of the Law Institute of Victoria. Leanne joined the firm of Pearsons in 1987 after graduating with a combined Law and Arts degree from Melbourne University and has been a Partner of the firm since 1991. She also has a post graduate Diploma in Family Mediation from La Trobe University. Leanne has practiced exclusively in the areas of family law, defacto law, same sex couple law and family violence since she was admitted to practise as a lawyer in 1987. She also practices as a Mediator both in private disputes and on behalf of Relationships Australia for the Federal Magistrates' Court, mediating in property matters arising in family disputes regarding property. Leanne was winner of the Relationships Australia prize in Mediation in the year 2000. She has lectured in Family law at LaTrobe University and she is also a Committee Member of the Domestic Violence and Incest Resource Centre. Tel

Her areas of practice are Family law, including property and children's issues. She was admitted to practice in 2005 after completing her articles at Pearsons. Matthew Holzer - Associate. In addition to his Bachelor of Law, Matthew has completed a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Psychology and Visual Art) and a Bachelor of Economics. As a commercial litigator, Matthew has gained experience at all levels of the Victorian Court system and has acted in both litigious and transactional matters covering a broad range of legal issues including:-
